BULLDOG URGENT CARE
Jerry Williams, M.D.
Meet the Doctor
Jerry Williams, M.D., a native of Savannah, saw a need for access to immediate medical care in 2011 when local residents started calling him at home anytime they needed urgent care. While urgent care was only a new concept, his family of Urgent Care 24/7 clinics have quickly grown to multiple locations in Savannah. Always a visionary, Dr. Williams saw the need for immediate medical care in other areas, including the city of Athens, GA where his favorite college football team, the University of Georgia Bulldogs, reigned. Dr. Williams’ nickname is Dr. Bulldog so he started Bulldog Urgent Care which opened in August 2017. You’ll find him at most home and away football games shouting Go Dawgs!
Dr. Williams became a pediatric neurologist in 1996 and practiced as a Pediatric and Adult Neurologist at Chatham Neurology in Savannah, GA. He graduated from Armstrong State College and the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. He interned in General Pediatrics at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC and in Internal Medicine at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC. He did his residency in Adult and Child Neurology at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, NM and his fellowship in Child Neurology at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.

“Dr. Williams is the antithesis of what doctors have become. He listens, asks questions and uses his education and experience of people to not only help you but understand you. I’m am truly impressed and feeling lucky that I have access to a gifted doctor in the times we live in.”
THANK YOU!~Dean Fowler
